My name's Mike and I live in the MONroe area. Been carrying concealed for 20+ years and have quite a bit of military training and experience (ex-Navy; Weapons Dept. and MARDET Support Team). Found out later in life while attending several civilian weapon training classes - including Marty Hayes' FAS, which I highly recommend - that not everything they teach you in the military is the right way.....it just happens to be the MILITARY way
So, I've had to unlearn some o' the gubmint training....glad I'm an exception to the Old Dog rule
Have a wife of 24 years and mid-20's son & daughter - - all shoot and truth be told, my wife will usually smoke us old men when shooting out to 200+ yards.
I'd heard that WA State was OC, but never had the time nor inclination to wade thru the RCW's to make absolutely sure; besides, never really thought I needed to.....CC always served me well.
But since reading posts from here and OpenCarry.org, then doing my own research based on RCW and court precedent cited on these sites, I just figured I couldn't continue my status as a proud member of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy if I didn't exercise my right to OC. So there you have it.
