Please vote on which format you prefer. Also note, both are completely unmodified.
YaBB is this board.
SMF is found at

I myself prefer SMF. It is a very straightforward and simple board but has alot of power to it on the backend. Tons of themes are available for it and the installation of mods are astonishingly easy in comparison to most other BBS's.
Greg I take it you found the SMF convertors.

I did indeed find the SMF stuff
I'm really liking that format better. Although I currently am having issues installing any "packages", I'm sure I'll get that worked out quickly enough.

The thing I found about packages for SMF is that if they are not made specifically for the version you have they will not work. The package installer does, or at least supposed to, check the versions. There are ways around it however. There is a file that contains the versions that it is for and you can edit the file and add the version that you are installing the package on.
Let me know and I wll give you a hand if you want.

This all might be moot if we don't start getting some activity in the forums!

Yeah, I think that I prefer the SMF board, too. Though I'm open to either.

SMF it is. This is easier to manage, and I think easier for the users as well. It's a more advanced version of YaBB which this started out as. Hopefully the conversion went well!
