Can pawn shops sell gun in WA?

I'm originally from Texas, where pawn shops were a great source of inexpensive used guns.  Currently I reside in PA where pawn shops cannot sell guns.  What is the pawn shop situation in WA? 

I am trying to convince a friend in WA to buy a gun any gun, even if it's just an NEF single shot 12 gauge.  The cheaper it is the easier it will be to convince him and that's why I was wondering.

Yeah, no problem with them.  It's the standard 4473 and a state form.  If your friend is in the Pierce County area, there's a pawn shop in downtown Puyallup with really good prices, and they happen to have a lot of single-shot bolt action rfifles and break action shotties.  Not much selection for handguns, but a full wall of long arms.
