I Love Open Carrying!
Norpoint Range

I just got back from Norpoint up in Arlington and have to say that it is a nice change from the majority of ranges. The gun shop is still growing, and it looks like it is in the right direction, and the range is nicely setup. This is the place to shoot as far as I am concerned. Wade's and Sam's treat you like little kids and their actions are reminiscence of the Nazi's. Norpoint, unlike others, will let you rapid fire as long as you can do it in a safe manner and all rounds hit the target. This is a nice thing because I like to rapid fire off at least 3 or 4 mags while I am there just to keep familiar with the feel of it. They also let you fire rimfire and small caliber rifles without being a member. Something I have yet to see at other ranges in the area.
Definitely has all of my business in the future. The guys in the range and shop are great guys with great attitudes and pretty damned fun to BS with also.

I agree completely. I went there just as they opened. Good range! If it were closer, I'd be there all the time (so it's probably good it isn't closer).

I have to agree with joeroket, about the way you are treated at Sam's.
