Well, talked to the Deputy Chief last night and asked him about open carry.  He said YES, Wa is an open carry state, but if they get a call they will stop and talk to you.  And also it's a misdemeanor to spit on the sidewalk in town.

Well at least they acknowledge that they know OC is lawful. Now they just need to understand that OC is not justification for a detainment and the stop must end if there is no consent to the stop by the OC'er.
