Okay, I'll be the first, I ain't scared.

When I'm home I don't let my guard down.  Pack all the time.  If I'm in the back of the house and don't hear someone come up the drive, the dog will let me know and I don't have to scramble for a gun.  Wife thinks it's Gulf war syndrome causing paranoia, I keep telling her I'm PREPARED!

Remember, your only paranoid until your proven right!  Then your prepared!

Roger that. I don't carry the entire time I am home but I hear ya. You never know, especially in with todays turmoil when evil will raise it's ugly head.

Especially when you are out in the middle of the sticks 30-45 minutes from any LEO, 20 minutes from any Aid.  Especially where there are no street lights so it's pitch dark outside at night.  Especially when there are Cougar, bobcat, bear roaming around.

Of course since it's King County it's ILLEGAL for me to shoot my firearm to keep in practice, but what else would you expect where the minimum size of property where I am is 5 acres and a long ways away from anything...
