Just wanted to say hi all from the 'couv.

I've been browsing/reading OCDO for awhile, but honestly hadn't quite "fit in".  I like the idea of this board, tho.  Hope it blossoms!

Hello all.

I too, am a participant over on OCDO. I like the idea of having a more cellular or regional organization, and for now- NWCD is the closest to my locale in Superior California.

Perhaps there should be a "Welcome Center"?

Nice to see you here ConditionThree.

What did you have in mind as far as a "Welcome Center"?

A welcome center board would avoid the clutter of each person greeting everyone on the general board or their particular state's general board. It might be worth doing, but it might also end up being widely overlooked by regulars.
I don't know if that's exactly the welcome center suggested, but I've seen it done elsewhere.

Check out the new "New member introduction" board.  Is this what you were looking for?
