When You Come For My Gun, Who Wants to Be First?

How many of those out there that regularly Open Carry, carry or have available a cover-up garment for that time when you just don't want to get into any discussion over legalities of OC?  If so, what is your choice.

For myself, I either have a 5.11 Vest or a simple fleece vest available in the vehicle.

My shirts are always long enough to conceal, not very well might I add, if the need arises. I just need to untuck it.

I always carry an Israeli bodyguard jacket in the car.

Scott-e-Vest Microfleece Pullover in the Winter, Spring, and Fall.

Haven't had a gun in the summer yet... Will probably just OC most of the time!

Because I can't carry a cop.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. If it's cold, I'll OC with a coat on, just tucked behind my SERPA CQC holster. Pretty easy to CC with said coat, but I prefer not to, just to keep up the OC-activism.

Mostly, if I don't have a need for a cover garment, I won't take one, just so an uninformed cop can't "make" me cover up.

I have that covered because I always keep my "permission from the government to carry concealed" only in the car.  Thus, when I'm out of the car and about they can't ask me to "cover up" without asking me to break the law Smiley  Well, they can ask me of course, but I will politely point out the fact that they are asking me to commit a crime...  Wink
