I had forgotten I joined here a while ago, so this would be my first post on NWCDL.

You might know me by Sage of Seattle on THR and OCDO.  I've been on Combatcarry too under a different name, but I don't go there much any more.

I lived in Seattle for almost twenty years befor moving to Boise, so that explains my "Seattle" screen name.  That's why the change on this forum to just plain "Sage."

I see lots of names from those boards, so I already feel at home!

Hey Lonnie!  I hadn't realized you were a co-founder of NWCDL.  Thanks for all your hard work on my behalf and the behalf of gun owners (almost) everywhere!

Welcome Sage.  I've seen you on all those forums.  I don't go to combatcarry anymore really either.  Didn't they change it to defensivecarry not long ago?

Heh.  Yeah, I think you're right.  Just shows how up on current events I am on that site.  Not to disparage it, but there seemed to be a bunch more bickering back and forth than I really care for.  Some is fine, you know -- it's to be expected.

Some is definitely expected.  When you have people as passionate about a subject as many who defend the 2nd amendment, there are bound to be "lively discussions"

But you are right, when it devolves into constant bickering, it gets old quickly.
