Hello,

I am tickled that my login name is my actual name.  Grin

Anyway, I loved the name "NorthWest Citizens Defense League" so I of course signed up. I have been active in learning self-defense since Hurricane Katrina. Everything I know about this topic I have taught myself or have received training from Insights in Issaquah. I believe Washington is a great state for people who carry firearms. Nevertheless, there are a few Washington laws that I absolutely despise, thus I get involved whenever I can.

I don't OC much but I carry all the time. I do OC on occasion especially if I am headed to SVRC.

Speaking of Issaquah, may I suggest the February open carry get together be at Stan's BBQ by the Issaquah PD. Not that I have ever had any trouble with Issaquah PD, indeed I have used their range for training (one of the best indoor ranges I have been in). However if you have not had BBQ at Stan's you're just missing out. It's pulled-pork style and reminds me of my days in North Carolina.

Hope everyone had a happy New Year!

The art of war teaches us to rely not on the likelihood of the enemy's not coming, but on our own readiness to receive him.

Issaquah sounds like a fine idea!  And I like the sounds of that BBQ place.

Welcome aboard BTW Smiley
